At a civic reception hosted by the Rt Hon The Lord Provost Councillor Jacqueline McLaren and Glasgow City Council, over 70 people from across Glasgow’s diverse faith and belief communities came together in the City Chambers to mark Scottish Interfaith Week 2022. Through speeches by the Bailie Christy Mearns, Glasgow’s Depute Lord Provost, and Interfaith’s Glasgow Chair Philip Mendelsohn and CEO Dr Rose Drew, guests learned about the vibrant interfaith activity happening across the city. Attendees also had the opportunity to meet and connect with people from different communities who share their commitment to building a better integrated, more understanding, more harmonious Glasgow for all. A very special evening!
