First Interfaith Glasgow Networking Seminar
Last week we held Interfaith Glasgow’s first Networking Seminar. The seminar brought together over 50 delegates from at least 9 different faith communities and organisations concerned with good community relations to reflect collectively on how interfaith dialogue and co-operation could help create a better Glasgow for all. The aim was to link up people with a stake in this work, so that interfaith connections can be extended and deepened in ways which have a practical impact on people’s lives.
We are now recruiting for a Project Manager (Maternity Cover). Interfaith Glasgow’s Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day running of the project, including developing and overseeing new structures and communication networks, coordinating dialogue events and initiatives, managing the project budget, and supervising part-time project workers. See here for more details.

‘Stepping into Diversity’ is an 18 month heritage project on which Interfaith Glasgow will be partnering with the West of Scotland Regional Equality Council. A crucial strand of the project involves supporting young people to learn more about each other’s diverse faith traditions. This will include making short films about their experiences of being young people of faith in Glasgow and their experiences of positive interfaith engagement in a wider heritage context. Watch this space!
Events took place all over the city which brought faith communities together for dialogue, reflection, and celebration. For more information see our Interfaith Week page.
